Description:

RV6a G-ONUN, built in 1999, for sale for just £80 000 for a quick sale. The avionics are worth £30k alone and it's had a full engine rebuild in 2022!

Always hangered at Old Buck, Norfolk.

Selling as I am trying to free up capital for something else.

PERFORMANCE

- 1000ft at 2400 RPM, it will comfortably hold 140kts, and a smidge faster at altitude of course.
- Can lean it out to 28 litres/hour at 125kts.
- This recovers very well from spinning due to the larger fin.
- Great for gentlemanly aeros. I've done the VG curves and for it's weight/set up it can easily handle 6G, but I've never taken it above 4G.
- Glide 8:1.
- STOL is great! On runway 25 at Old Buck, I can land on the numbers and slow down to comfortably take the first exit on the left (450ft).
- Great touring aircraft. Can easily plan for 135kt average airspeed, regardless of wind...

Engine: Lycoming O-360-A1A, 180HP
Propeller: Prince P-Tip Carbon 2 Blade, P-TIP 68" X 80" (Fixed Pitch) (VERY good prop!)
Airframe: (Subject to change) 1229 hours.
- New battery installed beginning of March by TLAC.

INTERIOR

- Read/Grey leather seats
- Dynon Skyview Touch EFIS System with integrated Mode-S Transponder & Autopilot. This autopilot, with one button push, will go wings level from ANY attitude. I tried it in a 30 degree inverted nose down, 30 degree AoB dive and it worked fine. Great bit of kit.
- 833 Radio

EXTERIOR

- Fitted with the later larger RV8 Vertical Stabiliser.
- Vans Rudder bar modification carried out by Hangar 25 Aviation in September 2022 (Compliant with Vans SB 99-06-1 Rev.2 requirement to modify rudder bars with additional gusset).
- Red & White paintwork in a good condition. The odd paint crack at the front. And a bit of a paint job needed on the bottom of the tail.
- LED Nav/Strobe light system & Landing light.

Maintained by TLAC in Little Snoring.
